Kōkako in the nīkau grove
The small nīkau grove on Tiritiri Matangi Island is a hot spot for the fruit and nectar-eating birds. My friend and I waited for more than an hour to see whether any kōkako would visit. When a pair finally did, we snapped away happily for about half an hour. One of my favourite photos of this gorgeous endemic bird.
A4 and A4 fine art paper prints: Hahnemühle Cotton Rag 308gsm, a matte fine art paper offering excellent colour, deep blacks, and superb resolution; acid‑ and lignin‑free.
A3 canvas: 350 gsm textured semi-gloss canvas. It is wrapped around a kiln-dried frame and hand-stretched. This is a great option because it's ready to hang without the need for framing!
Other print formats - larger sizes, matted, or framed - are available on request.
